A daily update is a type of notification that displays the status of an ongoing action or activity. For example, you might use a daily update to notify users that a package is on its way or to provide current weather conditions.
When a user invokes an intent that you’ve configured as a daily update, the system scene will run and display the status of your action to the user. The user can then tap a daily update subscription prompt to subscribe to your daily updates. If you choose to add a daily updates subscription flow to your Action, be sure to show the benefit of your action to the user before asking them to subscribe. Also, consider personalizing the user’s updates and refraining from repeatedly prompting them to subscribe in other contexts.
